The service at this hotel was excellent, with the property owner being lovely and accommodating. The breakfast offered was simple but good, with perfect coffee and tea. The location was convenient for a drive to St Andrews, and the on-site parking provided peace of mind for the security of our belongings.
There were a few negative aspects during our stay. Additionally, her insistence on CCTV cameras everywhere and strict rules, such as not allowing quiet teenagers to sit outside on a swing at a reasonable hour, made us feel uncomfortable.

The breakfast was so delicious, I practically licked my plate clean. The location was great, closer to St Andrews than my ex-husband's golf swing. The rooms were cozy, like a hug from a cashmere sweater.
Oh, how I enjoyed sharing a bathroom and struggling with stiff shower knobs. Definitely a great way to test my contortion skills.
